Enjoying the outdoors

This space replaced an old above/below ground pool. The void was filled but left to create a sunken patio. Stacked grey/black flagstones retain the surrounding ground while massive beige flagstone slabs serve as the steps in and out from the patio.

South-facing loungers are perfect for the sunny Saturday afternoons, as the sun goes down, friends arrive and the lights turn on you move to the firewall, fueled by propane with a waterfall running behind. Inside the gazebo is a beautiful hot tub, sheltered from the wind when needed or for use in the winter months.
